#SexForGrade: UNILAG lecturer, attempts suicide with rat poison
Latest report on the trending news of the SexForGrade University of Lagos lecturer, Boniface Igbeneghu indicates that the lecturer as attempted to commit suicide.
Dr Boniface, who was exposed on BBC’s “#SexForGrade” documentary, allegedly tried to take his own life using a lethal rat poison and is now at Reddington hospital, under close supervision.
The viral video of the scandal released on Monday has since led to the suspension of the lecturer from Unilag and the Four-Square Church where he heads a branch
Boniface has, however, made no specific comments having come under severe attacks on his facebook timeline on Monday.
According to reports, a close relative confirmed that Boniface attempted suicide by taking rat poison. He was found almost lifeless on the floor with bubbles foaming out of his mouth before being rushed to the hospital.
A twitter user also confirmed the reported suicide attempt saying; ”Boniface Igbeneghu attempted suicide last night & is currently in Reddington hospital, under supervision. We need him alive to face the university’s disciplinary panel & be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Nigerians have now reacted saying, he must live to face the law.”
