LAUTECH tuition hike: NANS says it will not tolerate opression of students
The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), has warned that it would not tolerate any oppression of students of higher institutions, including any hike of school fees.
The group which gave the warning, Saturday in a statement jointly signed its chairman, Moronkola Abiola and National Public Relations Officer, Bestman Okereafor, appealed to the Oyo State Government not to increase tuition fee at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso. under the present economic situation.
The officials said that the leadership of the association is set to mediate matters confronting the students in the institution. They described the alleged planned high fee increase as unjust
