….Treks 800 metres from Daura Eid ground to private residence
The Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu has said that the president is fit to run for a second term come 2019 presidential election.
Shehu who made the assertion Tuesday in the president’s Daura home town after Buhari was said to have shunned protocol and trekked 800 metres from the Daura Eid prayer ground to his private residence.
According to the president’s aide, the trekking feat was a clear indication that the president was fit to slug it out in the 209 general election for his re-election bid and a response to Sokoto State’s governor, Aminu Tambuwal’s diatribe on the president age and health.
