Nollywood actor slumps, dies while having drink in bar
A Nollywood actor, Prince Dammy Eke, has died after he slumped in a bar in Rivers State where he went to drink with some friends.
According to reports, Prince Eke who was one of the sons of the Late Eze Gbaka Gbaka of Woji, died on Sunday in the bar as he was drinking in a sit out bar. He was said to have been rushed to a hospital where he was confirmed dead.
At the time of going to press, the cause of death was not yet known.
Some of his friends took to social media to pay their tributes to him.
Dammy who acted in many Nollywood films was married to popular musician, Muma Gee, a marriage which produced three children.
Before his death, Dammy Eke was a Justice of Peace, JP, and an Ambassador for Peace of UPA.
His death is coming five years after he lost his father, the first civilian governor of Rivers State, King Frank Eke, who died at the age of 83.
