Bandit terrorists kill 4 after opening fire at wedding ceremony in Kaduna

Soldier, six others killed in Edo communal clash


Bandit terrorists on Friday killed four people after they opened fire at a wedding ceremony in Diko village, Idasu district in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna state.

Kaduna State Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, made this known in a statement on Saturday.

According to Aruwan, “the marauding bandits stormed a wedding ceremony in the village, shooting sporadically”.

The following locals were shot dead; Malam Ibrahim, Saidu Haruna, Abdulkadir Adamu, Nababa Ahmad.

In a similar attack, terrorists killed one Kankomi Maikarfi in Sabon Garin Kufana, Kajuru LGA.

Kaduna governor, Nasir el-Rufai who received the report expressed his grief at the attacks and condemned the brutal killing by the terrorists.

The governor sent his condolences to the families of the victims, praying for the repose of their souls.
