Days after the Nigerian Air force accidentally threw a bomb which killed nearly a dozen people in Yobe State, Boko Haram terrorists have struck the state.
The terrorists reportedly stole five tractors and burnt down two others in Ngelbuwa, Gujba Local Government Area of the State.
They reportedly invaded the town and forcefully ordered a resident to show them the houses of the tractor drivers.
Nuhu Baba Hassan, Chairman of North East Commodity Association (NECAS), Yobe State chapter, confirmed the attack saying that three tractors belonging to NECAS Borno and Yobe state offices were affected in the attack.
According to Hassan, a tractor under his custody was snatched from its driver at gunpoint.
Bitrus Mamuda Saleh, Divisional Police Officer (DPO) Buni Yadi, also confirmed the attack. He said Muhammad Mustapha, Chairman of Borno State chapter NECAS reported that suspected Boko Haram insurgents attacked their tractor drivers at Ngelbuwa village in Gujba, and took away four tractors belonging to Borno State government.
Two NECAS tractors were set ablaze by the insurgents .
