The Chairman of Bwari Area Council, Mr Musa Dikko, has assured that he would motivate both teachers and parents to enrol more children in schools, giving them access to knowledge.
The Chairman who gave the assurance Tuesday, to newsmen during an event of match past and display of cultural dance by various schools, organised by the council in Abuja.
Dikko said that the council is doing its best to give more support toward providing quality and improved education to pupils in the district.

He said the area council will put necessary measures in place to boost learning environment and school enrolment.

”The responsibility of catering for these children, especially that of the Primary Schools, is saddled with the Primary Education Board.

” However, the council has put intervention measures in place through various donations of learning materials such as desks, books and the likes to encourage them.
” We have also assisted some other schools to construct fences round their school environment to make it secured and conducive for learning,” Dikko stated.
The Executive Secretary, Local Education Authority, Bwari, Mr. Ayuba Solomon who also spoke to newsmen, said that his office will work hand in hand with the area council to meet the education needs of the people.
According to him, it remained the duty of the Education Board to ensure that teachers are on the field to do the right thing and make necessary impact on the children and the country at large.
