Nigeria, on Thursday, recorded her highest single day deaths of 16 patients with 276 new cases as the country considers total easing of the lockdown.
A breakdown of the states’ occurrence, recorded on May 26, 2020 according to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), shows 161 cases in Lagos, 36 in Rivers, 27 in Edo, 19 -Kaduna, 10 in Nasarawa, 6 in Oyo-, 4 in Kano, 3 in Delta, 3 in Ebonyi, 2 in Gombe, 1 each in Ogun, Ondo, Borno, Abia, and Bauchi States.
In total, Nigeria has recorded 8344 cases of COVID-19. 2385 patients have been discharged from various Isolation centers across the country, while 249 deaths have been recorded.
