Freedom as Benue COVID-19 index case, Susan Idoko Okpe, released from Isolation

 

After 58 days of being in Isolation, persistent media pressure, the federal government has finally released, Susan Idoko Okpe, the Benue COVID-19 index case.

One of her daughters who shared the news on social media, said her mother was released on Wednesday evening.

Okpe, a grandmother had been in a fierce battle with the Federal government and the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) shortly after she was reported to have tested positive for the novel Coronavirus and moved into an Isolation center, first in Benue, and then in Abuja.

The lady who had accused the government of plots to poison and kill her, disclosed that throughout her stay in the center, she was tested five time for the virus and all the results returned negative.
