A youth leader of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra State, Hon Emeka Alaehobi has been killed by gunmen after he was abducted.
Alaehobi who was kidnapped on Friday was said to have been found dead on Saturday.
Sources said the victim was kidnapped while his body was found on Saturday at Utuh junction in Nnewi South local government area.
“They kidnapped and killed Hon Emeka Alaehobi, Nnewi South APGA local government youth leader.
“This morning his remains were found dumped at Utuh Junction,” the source was quoted.
Anambra Police command spokesman, Ikenga Tochukwu , confirmed that an unidentified corpse was discovered on Saturday.
His words: “When our operatives got to the scene, the corpse had been removed by some persons, we are yet to identify, and we have also ascertained that the corpse is that of the youth leader.”
