Niger State Police Command Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Abiodun Wasiu, said could not react when he was contacted by the media.

A Reverend of the Catholic Diocese of Minna, who pleaded anonymity, however, confirmed the incident, saying that search has intensified towards recovering the younger brother of the priest.
