President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed why he will never write any book in his life time, saying that children may be hurt.
President Buhari made this known recently while hosting some guests in his Aso Rock office.
Buhari, presumably one of the Nigerian leaders with a huge catalogue of experience in leadership, having ruled the country as a military head of state and a civilian president as well as his travails trying to win elections, is assumed to have a lot of lessons for future generations of Nigerians.
However, the president has ruled out the possibilities of Nigerians or even the world at large getting to pry into his thoughts and experiences.
In his words at the meeting; ”Some people said I should write a book. I don’t think I will ever write a book because I don’t want to hurt anybody. Hurting in the sense that there are certain people that I cannot resist abusing and that has got nothing to do with their children and their grandchildren.
“So I don’t want to hurt their children and grandchildren. So, for the sake of their children and grandchildren, I have left them”.
