JSS 2 student of Abuja school to moderate 2020 International Girl Child Day summit

 

A Junior Secondary School JSS student of the New Christian Power International School, Dawaki, Abuja, Miss Ene Naomi Okpe, has been selected as the moderator of the 2020 International Day of the Girl Child summit.

The Girls Virtual Summit with theme; ‘My Voice our Equal Future’ is slated for 11th October, 2020 and participants are expected to register via the link; bit.ly/GVS_2020.

The summit will feature drama, dance quiz, spoken word, music, art, talk-show, debate, games and giveaways among others.

The convener of the summit is Margaret Bolaji-Adegbola, Founder, Stand with a Girl Initiative while the guest speakers include Dr. Natalia Kanem an Executive Director with the United Nations Population Fund(UNPF) and Kate Hampton.

Others are Chief Executive Officer, Children’s Investment Fund (CIFF), Habiba Mohammed, Co-founder, Centre for Girls Education (CGE), Babafunke Fagbemi Executive Director, Centre for Communication and Social Impart (CCSI) and Crystal Ikanih-Musa Country Representative, Malala Fund-Nigeria
