Suspected Armed robbers whose mode of operation could be described as mysterious, on Thursday, broke into the home of the proprietor of a primary, secondary school located along the Kubwa expressway and carted away monies meant for the August salaries of her teachers and other workers in the school.
The robbers were said to have also robbed several other houses in the street where the proprietor lives, dispelling suspicions that the robbery could have been an insider operation.
Educationtell reliably gathered that the proprietor had retired to her residence after working hours, Thursday, taking with her the envelopes containing the salaries of staff who did not collect their salaries that day during work hours, running into over N200,000.
The proprietor was said to have put the envelopes in her handbag and kept on the table beside her bed. She also placed her mobile telephone on the same table and went to bed. When she woke up the next morning, she discovered that both her handbag and mobile phone had disappeared.

She began to think that, maybe, she did not bring the bag home from school. But her phone which was the last thing she handled was also missing, giving her the conviction that something was amiss.
She immediately went to the sitting room to inspect the doors and windows but, to her amazement, both were intact and still locked the same way she left them the night before. At this point, she raised the alarm. She was equally shocked that other occupants of the house did not know what happened and did not hear any break-in the previous night.
They formed a search party and moved round the premises only to discover the bag on the floor in front of one of the apartments. When it was opened, behold all the envelopes and other valuables in the handbag had been made away with. The envelopes were later found littering on the floor of the premises with all the monies neatly removed.
The proprietor and other residents of the house believed that the robbers who came to the premises, without breaking the gate, doors or windows of the house would have used some charms to enter and make away with the items.
When further enquiries were made the proprietor learnt that a similar robbery took place that same night in two other houses just a stone-throw from her house. One of the houses was a two story building, where the robbers went to one of the apartments on the second floor and dispossessed the occupants of monies, phones and other valuables without the occupants finding out until they woke up the next morning.
