Nigeria records over 100,000 caseload, 8 new deaths

 

Nigeria’s coronavirus caseload hit 100,087 with 1,024 new infections recorded across the country on Sunday January 10, 2021. Eight deaths were also recorded.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) which released the figure showed that   Lagos and Plateau recorded 653 and 63 infections respectively.

Other states with cases include Benue-48, Zamfara-45, FCT-42, Rivers-27, Ondo-26, Adamawa-26, Kaduna-22, Edo-18, Ogun-16, Imo-12, Kano-9, Yobe-6, Ekiti-5, Jigawa-4 and Osun-2.  

1,358 deaths have been recorded while 80,030 patients who recovered from the disease have also been discharged.
