Nigeria’s Coronavirus case climbs to 31,323, with 575 new infections

 

Nigeria coronavirus case has climbed to 31,323 with 575 new infections recorded on Friday, across the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) which made this known in a tweet, revealed that that the country recorded 20 deaths on Friday bringing the total fatality to709.

A breakdown of the new cases according to states is as follows: Lagos – 234, Oyo – 85, FCT – 68, Rivers – 49, Kaduna – 39, Edo – 31 and Enugu – 30.

Others are Delta – 11, Niger – 10, Katsina – 9, Ebonyi – 5, Gombe – 3, Jigawa – 3, Plateau – 2, Nasarawa – 2, Borno – 2, Kano – 1, and Abia – 1.

12,795 cases have been discharged from centres across the country since the outbreak of the disease in Nigeria in February while a total of 175,656 samples have been tested.
