Nigeria’s COVID-19 case edges to 20,000 with 661 new infections

 

Nigeria’s confirmed COVID-19 cases has risen to 19, 808 with 661 new cases recorded on Saturday, June 20.

According to the statistics released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC, 230 of the new cases were recorded in Lagos, 127 in Rivers, 83 in Delta, 60 in the FCT and 51 in Oyo.

Others are 31 in Edo, 27 in Bayelsa, 25 in Kaduna, 13 in Plateau, 6 in Ondo, 3 in Nasarawa, 2 in Ekiti, 2 in Kano and 1 in Borno.

6,718 of COVID19 patients have been discharged while 506 deaths have so far been recorded.
