Ogun State governor Prince Dapo Abiodun has announced his decision to procure and equip graduating apprentices across Technical and Vocational Institutes in the State,

The governor who said the move is in its effort to reduce unemployment said the programme  will be through collaboration with corporate organisations, philanthropists and financial institutions.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Technical Education, Prof. Joseph Odemuyiwa who made this known at a press briefing, in his office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, said the start-up pack equipment would encourage and enhance them in their studied trades.

Prof. Odemuyiwa stressed that there was no illegal Technical and Vocational training Centres in the State, but only those that were yet to be accredited,urging such schools to approach the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology without delay, as such approval would help grow their training outlets and also boost the State’s economic status.
