The opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has defeated the All Progressives Congress (APC) Vice Presidential candidate Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and the Presidential candidate of the Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN) Mr. Fela Durotoye in the polling unit in Lagos
Osinbajo and Durotoye lost their polling units in the Victoria Garden City (VGC) in Lagos state to PDP’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar. Both APC and ANN candidates voted in the same polling units.
The result collated at the end of the elections, showed that the PDP polled 425 votes while the APC had 229 for the presidential election.
The PDP also won the National Assembly elections in the polling unit. In the senatorial election, the PDP had 414 votes while the APC had 261. For the house of representatives election, the PDP had 268 while the APC had 190 votes.
