The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has warned Imo politicians to end their wranglings that are allegedly causing the  killings in the state.

The secessionists stated  this on Wednesday in a statement by its media and publicity secretary, Emma Powerful, circulated to journalists on Wednesday.

It alleged that the political feud amongst  politicians in the state was fuelling the mayhem in the state.

It called on the state governor, Hope Uzodimma,  Emeka Ihedioha, Rochas Okorocha and Ifeanyi Ararume to stop their feuding to end the unwarranted killings in the state.

The group said, “We the global family and movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) condemn the ongoing attacks by the Nigeria Security Agencies and Ebube Agu militia against civilians in  peaceful communities in Okigwe LGA in Imo State for one week.

“The Nigeria Army, Police, and Ebube Agu invaded Aku, Umulolo, and Ihube Communities in Okigwe LGA last week, and killed and abducted innocent citizens. The surviving residents have abandoned their homes for the fear of being abducted or shot dead.

“We are not pleased with what Hope Uzodinma and his collaborators are doing in Imo State. We don’t understand what Imo State Indigenes did to Hope Uzodinma and his political rivals that warrant these reckless killings and all manner of maltreatment from this man who claims to be a Governor.

“We find what is happening  very distasteful  because our people are dying every day and night under the supervision of vampire, Hope Uzodinma.

“We are aware that many politicians in Imo State like Emeka  Ihedioha, Ifeanyi Ararume, Rochas Okorocha, and many others contributed in creating the insecurity in Imo State because of the political fighting and power struggle that emanated from the Supreme Court of Nigeria illegally imposing Hope Uzodinma on Imo State.

“IPOB and its intelligence unit intercepted their  conspiracy against the illegal State Governor that has been causing innocent citizens to suffer.

“These men like Emeka Ihedioha, Hon. Ifeanyi Ararume and Rochas Okorocha and Supreme Court Governor Hope Uzodinma invited Armed militias from Niger Delta to do their bidding thereby turning Imo State into a war zone.

“We are calling on these people in the state to stop their power tussle to avoid spreading sponsored insecurity to other States in Biafraland. IPOB will never be happy with them because they have not only impoverished our people but  have also killed a lot of people.

“The killings going on in Okigwe axis may escalate if they don’t stop it. We want to let them know, especially Hope Uzodinma, that no matter what they do, they cannot kill every Imo State Indigene.

“Hope Uzodinma stop using Nigeria terrorist Army and Ebubeagu  militia to kill our people.Hope Uzodinma, your time will be over soon.  We promise you.”
