Two men who allegedly kidnapped a young 19-year-old lady in Imo State, and raped her, have landed themselves in police net.
The men, Onumajuru Victor, 20, and Chibike Chikere, 25 were arrested by operatives of the Imo State Police Command for abducting and defiling Deborah Ginikachukwu.
Victor and Chibike on Wednesday, August 28, 2018, allegedly conspired with three others to kidnap the victim and took her to their hideout
But operatives of the Imo State police command, who acted on a tip-off, swooped on their hideout and rescued Debora after arresting the suspects in possession of her handset.
According to the Police, the suspects unlawfully had carnal knowledge of the victim while in their captivity. They have made useful statements and are helping the Police in the investigation.
