Olympic eight-time gold medalist, Jamaica’s Usain Bolt has tested positive for the coronavirus after hosting a well attended party in Jamaica.
Jamaica’s health ministry confirmed that Bolt tested positive for Coronavirus, after the retired sprinter revealed he was self-isolating following his 34th birthday party.
The announcement on Monday night came after Bolt, who holds world records in the 100m and 200m, shared a video on Twitter in which he revealed he is self-isolating at home, and not displaying any symptoms.
Usain Bolt birthday party witnessed a massive crowd of guests not socially distancing or wearing masks. Big stars including Manchester City star Raheem Sterling and Bayer Leverkusen attacker Leon Bailey and cricketer Chris Gayle were all part of the party.
