Valentine: Parent’s raunchy photos to PTA WhatsApp forum cause rage

A woman’s pornographic photos posted to the WhatsApp forum of the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) of her child’s school, on Valentine Day, nearly tore the forum apart as disgusted parents came down heavily on her.

The parent, said to work with the National Assembly (names withheld) posted the offensive photos of men and women having sexual intercourse, at exactly 8.04 am, without adding any comments on the Valentine celebration or apologies.

No sooner had the photos hit the phones of other parents on the forum did the verbal onslaught against the parents began.

The first parent to react said, “This is the highest degree of irresponsibility and a drastic measure should be taken please. The poster of this is irresponsible and doesn’t deserve to be here please. He or she is an enemy and a spoiler of good things. Please, this person should be kicked away”

The next parent fired her own salvo, “Chai!!! People are not ashamed any longer ohhhh. Why here? If you can keep this in your phone, think of your children.

The next comment read, “This is unacceptable, it is a disgrace to parenthood.

The vituperative comments continued to pour in even after the parent was yanked off the forum by the school’s principal who happens to be the administrator of the forum.

“Who is this ……..? This is the height of indiscipline. We will not tolerate this irresponsible act.”

“Ndi madu (meaning, people) God have mercy on the person that has mind of posting this kind thing here.”

“This is totally unacceptable. If the admin doesn’t ban this fellow then this group is crap.. I have never been in a group where there is no rule like everything goes. Admin take action now. So disgusted. What the hell.”

“This is why people complain of others sending things that are not educational or that concerns their children…..Jesu! What will this kind of parent say if he or she sees such on their kid’s phone, God help us?”

After the parent who posted the offensive photos had been removed from the forum, the Principal offered an apology to the members of the forum, informing them that punitive action had been taken against the offender.

Her words, “Dear esteemed parents, I sincerely apologise for the highly offensive photos posted by a parent. Action has been taken as she has been removed from the platform. We are sorry for any inconveniences caused by her action. Thanks, Principal”.

Shortly after the principal’s apologies, many parents began to plead on behalf of the parent who posted the offensive photos and calling for her return to the forum.

One of the parents even posted a comment purported to have been written by the offending parents tendering unreserved apologies.

She posted, “I sincerely apologise to the group over the post this morning on the group chat. I saw those pix on my picture gallery this morning and I was angry about it. I was rushing to delete before my kids could have access to my phone and I don’t know how it dropped on the group because, the group was on top of my WhatsApp list, instead of press delete, I mistakenly pressed send. I want everyone to reason that even a mad person cannot do that. Please, I apologise for the mistake. Please don’t condemn me, this is not who I am.   Thank you. Mrs…..”

The barrage of comments continued on the forum but there are indications that the parent would be readmitted into the forum following her apologies and clear evidence that the photos were sent in error. Happy Valentine to all readers!
