A 300 Level Mass Communication student of the Delta State University, Elozino Ogege, who was declared missing four days ago by friends and relatives was found dead in a suspected ritual killing.
Elozino was declared missing on November 15, 2018, after her roommates and other friends took to the social media to appeal to Nigerians with knowledge of her whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or dial some numbers which they provide.
Unknown to her friends, Elozino had been murdered. Her corpse was reportedly found with her tongue and breasts chopped off.
According to reports, her remains were found at about 2am, on Monday, by residents, along Ekrejeta road in Abraka. The deceased was rated as a first class student.
The Delta State Acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Andrew Aniamaka, confirmed the incident saying, the family of the girl is devastated.
